As a general rule, we avoid the use of fiberglass on the inside of ductwork. Sheet metal and flex, when properly installed and sealed make a duct system that is worthy of our 100 year warranty. Though it is more difficult to work with, we are committed to using mastic to seal all of our ductwork because it is a superior material. Properly sizing of air ducts - We are a design/build company. Using design software* we are able to calculate not only the proper size of the unit, but the proper size of the ductwork. Charles Terrizzi holds a state of Florida masters license for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC). During Desert Storm he served his country as an aviation electronics technician in the United States Navy where he received a valuable education in electrical troubleshooting.
